“The future needs you to be a good ancestor. Spend some time to think about what the future you want looks like.” – Camille Seaman
I first met Camille Seaman (@camilleseaman) through the TED Fellows program (fair warning: you’ll be seeing a few TED Fellows on the rotation, they are SUPER inspiring). She is a environmental and portrait photographer, Stanford Knight Fellow, and, most recently, has traveled to Standing Rock, North Dakota, USA, and documented the events surrounding the #noDAPL movement there. While she has a soft voice, her images speak louder than words ever could. Whether speaking to the changing landscape around us or the people of native tribes, her images bring a poignancy that I’ve found immediately touches my heart. You can follow Camille’s work on Instagram, or bring her work home to you with this beautiful coffee table book.
